Window tinting in Washington
Washington allows a darker legal shade than California, and the summer sun still heats a cabin once it breaks through.
In Washington, front side windows must let at least 24% of visible light through. Rear glass must let at least 24% of visible light through. Windshield film stays a clear strip at the top, not a full tint. House and storefront film is not held to that driving rule. This is a summary of published limits, not legal advice.
