Storefront solar and security film
A glass front is how people see you and how the sun gets in. Film lets a shop keep the glass, spend less energy fighting it, and make a broken pane stay in the opening.
Solar film on a storefront
Merchandise in a south-facing window fades. Staff at the front desk squint. The AC runs to undo a wall of glass. A neutral solar film takes heat and UV down without making the shop look closed. Reflective film is cheaper-looking from the sidewalk and is usually the wrong face for retail. We lean neutral unless you specifically want a mirror.
Security film, stated plainly
Security film holds shattered glass. It buys time against a smash-and-grab and keeps shards off the people standing inside. It is not bulletproof, and it is not a lock. Pair it with an alarm and with a door that actually latches. On entries, the film should be attached into the frame, not just laid on the pane, or a kick can still push the whole sheet inward.
